Chris and Delana met for the very first time at Chenango Point Cycles, the local Binghamton New York bike shop. Delana had just moved to Binghamton from Ithaca and was searching for a set of wheels to use in a triathlon that summer. It was not until Delana went to her first Tioga Velo Club road race that she met and talked with Chris more. He was a gentleman that day, accompanying her on her first warm up lap around the Singer loop. Throughout that summer, the two started spending more time together at bike races, club events, and then even started riding together for fun. A few years later they trekked up a mountain at one of their annual vacation spots when Chris asked her to be his forever.
Their wedding took place at her family farm in Morris, New York where Delana had grown up. It was such a beautiful day filled with love, happiness, good music and amazing homemade pies.
