Well better late than never.
I started 2014’s wedding season barefoot shooting my first destination wedding on Valentines Day in Florida and it ended in a castle at one the Finger Lakes greatest wedding venues. I’ve gotten to see the leaves just starting to bloom in spring, to the leaves falling off the trees in late October. I shot a double wedding weekend still jet lagged from my trip to Europe. Ive gotten to see the whole state, and put 7,000 miles on my new baby Prius. Weddings every weekend, sometimes two leaving my car full of coffee, red bull and drive thru. Nights with no sleep anxious and excited about the following morning. Late night editing, and editing in the car on the way to the next wedding. Weddings that have left me in absolute tears, weddings where all I want to do is hug everyone and thank them for letting me be there. Moments that can never be replaced, hidden moments when no one knew I was there. Brides telling me I was the best part of their day, brides telling me they have full trust in me to plan the whole timeline of the day, and most importantly brides who have left imprints on my soul.
