There is something just so timeless about a black tie wedding. The Dutch Harvest Farm in Ithaca New York was the perfect spot to hold all 250 guests that attended this elegant wedding. Claire got ready at her childhood lake house overlooking Aurora lake with all her sisters. Ryan got ready at Dutch Harvest Farm, they had vintage furniture rented and it was such a nice touch. They had a catholic wedding ceremony in downtown Aurora and then we did most of their portraits in Aurora where we had the best lake views. Her veil flowed in the wind and it was down right magical, they also gave me some extra time to snag just couples portraits which is always nice to slow down. Once we got to dutch harvest for the reception I went into full documentary mode. I don’t pose much during the day except tell my couples where the best light is and of course direct the family / formal pictures. One of my favorite things is when venues have balconies or ways for me to experiment with angles and dutch harvest did not disappoint. Once the party started it really started and I went home with a very happy heart
