Zach and Kailey married in Kailey’s parents backyard in Ithaca New York Earlier this year. They put in so much work and absolutely transformed their backyard into this beautiful space. I jokingly but also not jokingly told her parents that they should just open up a wedding venue they did so damn good. The Fingerlakes are a dream in the summer ( ya know once all the snow melts) and this Ithaca Home overlooked Cornell University and Cayuga Lake, it was stunning. Kailey and Zach wanted their day to be truly about them so they forgoed the traditional bridal party and just had their dog by their side. We had so much more time for portaits and even snuck off for sunset pictures down by the woods. The day was full of emotion and because it was in their backyard it felt more intimate and true to them. I probably overshared too many images from this day but honestly I couldn’t choose.
