When you meet a bride and groom to go over photographing their wedding and they say ” Can you make me tanner, just put some Insta Valencia on that” you know that your meant to photograph them for the rest of your life. I met Melissa and Drew a few summers ago now and instantly knew we would be a right fit. Still to this day they are my all time favorite couple to photograph.  We decided to shoot their engagement session at one of the Vineyards in the Finger Lakes of New York on a beautiful summer evening right before sunset . Sometimes when I am photographing I completely tune out the rest of the world. During Melissa and Drews session I found this incredible field and if you know me Im such a sucker for fields and dreamy light. Well I got so caught up in capturing the moment I hadn’t even realized that I had broken my flip flop and was walking barefoot around the field. I never did salvage that flip flop and I drove 2 hours home barefoot. It was so worth it for these images, I just love how much genuine fun we had. I love authentic moments like these and absolutely love being a finger lakes wedding photographer.
